Mississauga, ON – The Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) has named Alectra Utilities the Public Power Utility of the Year as part of its 2020 Power Players Awards. Alectra is the first Canadian Utility to win this prestigious award. Alectra is being recognized for the achievements of its innovation hub, the Green Energy & Technology Centre (GRE&T Centre).
The GRE&T Centre makes energy innovation come to life by identifying, developing and accelerating emerging, clean, and customer-friendly energy solutions. This award highlights the following GRE&T Centre programs: AlectraDrive, GridExchange, POWER.HOUSETM, and Power.House Hybrid as notable initiatives.
