Enabling eMobility
EVs are here and they are for everyone!

If you are thinking of making the switch to an electric vehicle (EV), you probably have a lot of questions, from how much you can save, to how you will charge your vehicle and which models are right for you.

Electric vehicles have become mainstream due to lower prices, faster charging times and increased driving ranges. A rapidly evolving network of public charging stations in Ontario, federal incentives, and a growing number of affordable EV models, make now a perfect time to get behind the wheel of an EV. In 2023, over 10% of new cars sold in Canada were electric.

Alectra is leading the charge when it comes to electric vehicles. Over the years, Alectra has launched several initiatives, such as AlectraDrive @Work, AlectraDrive @Home, GridExchange, Advantage Power Pricing and the York University Electric Bus Simulation Study to develop new solutions for our customers. While we had the first commercial V2G charger in North America as a demonstration, we now have public fast charging available at our offices in Vaughan, Mississauga, Brampton and Guelph.

We have distilled much of the information and insights to help you make an informed decision about switching to an EV.
